Insurance Sales Agent - Work from Home Opportunity

We are currently interviewing active P&C Licensed agents to join our successful, paid, sales training classes, starting May 16, 2024. Unlicensed? As an Insurance Sales Agent with Answer, you will take inbound calls, offering shoppers the opportunity to compare prices and purchase auto and home insurance.

WHAT WE PROVIDE:

  • You will earn a base salary, competitive sales bonus, and day one health benefits.
  • Rewarding agent compensation plan including sales bonus first year starting @ $43,000 to $55,000.
  • Earn a base hourly rate while successfully completing our sales training and pre-licensing programs.
  • We provide you with all computer equipment needed, shipped overnight to your home address.

WHAT YOU PROVIDE:

  • If licensed, active resident state *P&C license in good standing and CE compliant, required.
  • Successfully complete pre-licensing study program and pass resident state Department of Insurance P&C exam, required.
  • 2+ years inbound sales experience preferred.
  • Prior experience in a performance driven call/contact center environment, preferred.
  • Desire and ability to work successfully in a full-time work from home environment.
  • Successfully complete and commit to our fast-paced 8 to 12-week (PAID) training programs. *Due to our fast-paced training we do not approve time off during training.
  • Ability to obtain resident and multiple non-resident state licenses and appointments as a licensed sales agent with multiple insurance carriers, required.
  • We provide the computer system, you provide a dedicated home office space, free of background noise and distractions, and *high speed internet required. Please note required technical requirements listed below.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative and strong multi-tasking skills are a must.
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to pick up new systems and processes quickly and multitask within multiple quoting systems using MS Office products to include Teams, and related computer applications required.
  • Confident self-starter who works well in a call center and team environment.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus! Must be fluent, speaking, reading, and writing.
  • Pass drug test and credit/criminal background checks.
  • Ability to work a schedule that may require rotating weekends and non-standard hours, multiple schedules are available and are based on meeting the needs of the business.

The compensation range for this role is a base pay rate of $19.00 to $24.00 per hour plus additional sales bonus opportunities. Please note, the starting base pay rate for newly hired agents is $19.00 per hour.

*Please note Company guidelines require a Property & Casualty license. You are responsible for completing and covering the cost of all Continuing Education courses if required within 6 months of hire date. Candidates with a Personal Lines license will join an unlicensed class, complete pre-licensing courses, and sit for their resident state P&C license. Unlicensed? Due to state pre-licensing requirements and resident license processing we cannot hire you if you are unlicensed in certain states, however, we do provide the option of a licensing reimbursement if you obtain your P&C license on your own, and you are hired for a licensed training class. Our recruiters are happy to discuss this option with you in detail!

**Technical Requirements for Employment: **High speed internet is required - you must have the ability to directly connect our equipment to your router via an ethernet cable. We cannot support Wireless hotspots, satellite internet, or other wireless only services.
