Training Specialist

Department: Training & Development
Location: Ogden, UT

As a successful Sales Trainer with Answer Financial you will be responsible for delivering new hire sales training at our Ogden, Utah, sales center, per established curriculum, as well as provide ongoing sales coaching. This is an excellent opportunity to use your experience in classroom facilitation and adult learning, allowing you to provide ongoing improvement in training materials and classroom teaching.

Responsibilities:

  •  Classroom facilitation - responsible for all aspects of supervision, organization, and delivery of new agent   training curriculum   per the standards of the new hire curriculum.
  •  Sales coaching - provide ongoing coaching and skills improvement to sales agents.
  •  Assist in ongoing development of training materials.
  •  Able to travel for multiple weeks at a time to deliver training.

Experience/Skills/Knowledge:

  •  3-5 years of sales and/or sales training experience
  •  Excellent public speaking and written communication skills
  •  Demonstrated commitment and passion to sales and sales training 
  •  Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
  •  Able to recognize skill gaps; inspire and motivate behavioral change
  •  Self-starter with strong organizational and self-management skills
  •  Project management skills; ability to eliminate/minimize roadblocks
  •  Strong presentation and facilitation skills; able to command the classroom  
  •  Design and deliver assigned lesson plan as part of interview process
  •  Previous experience in financial services, insurance or intangible product sales, preferred 

 Education & Certification:

  •   Bachelorís Degree
  •  Training and/or Sales Training Certification
  •  *Property Casualty (P&C) License, preferred (*will be required post employment)
  •  3-5 years of direct experience desired

 Computer Applications:

  •  Advanced Level use of Outlook is required
  •  Intermediate Level use of PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
