Financial Analyst - Corporate FP&A

Answer Financial is seeking a qualified Financial Analyst to join its corporate financial planning & analysis group. This is a critical and highly visible role with frequent interaction with Company’s executive management team. Ideal candidate must have the ability to handle complex, non-routine financial projects, as well as, produce high quality key monthly and quarterly reporting packages.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing the company’s annual operating plan; drive understanding of planning assumptions used and perform sensitivity analyses to assess range of outcomes
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly executive reporting packages to deliver financial and operational performance for the company
  • Perform detailed analyses to evaluate financial impacts of key financial and operational trends; experience with large data sets and data mining techniques
  • Skilled in building complex financial models, including scenario, IRR, and NPV analyses
  • Well versed in various statistical and valuation methodologies

Qualifications:

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills, in particular, understanding key financial and operating drivers of the business
  • Preference for candidates with proficiency in SQL
  • Energetic and entrepreneurial approach and a strong attention to detail
  • Flexibility to perform and multi-task effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

Experience/Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or similar
  • 3+ years of strong experience in investment banking, management consulting, FP&A, corporate development, or strategy experience
